FAQs

A: We have limited parking spaces in our parking lot, but plenty of FREE PARKING right around us, on Clingman Ave. and Haywood Rd.

As you may or may not be aware, there is a lot of construction underway around The Grey Eagle currently. APD + AFD has really been cracking down on illegal parking in the River Arts District recently, so we wanted to bring a few things to your attention before you arrive.

We have great relationships with our R.A.D. neighbors and we take it upon ourselves to be good stewards of our neighborhood during evening hours when a lot of our neighbors are closed. As you’re looking for parking tonight please DO NOT block fire lanes, DO NOT park along construction fences where no parking signs are posted, and please DO NOT block fire hydrants.

We need everyone to be mindful while parking vehicles and do your part to ensure fire trucks and first responders have very clear right-of-ways on all surrounding roads as parking is a little trickier to come by right now. Uber/Lyft is always a great option, too.

No large bags or backpacks permitted. Clear bags are recommended and any parenting bags, and medical bags are permitted. All bags are subject to search

A: Most of the ticket money goes to the bands, which have high overhead/travel costs of their own. The service fee covers part of the overhead costs involved in staffing and running a box office every show night. It is intended to help cover the costs of labor, ticketing software fees, credit card fees, phone charges, box office equipment, etc. We make every effort to keep this service charge as low as possible.

The truth is we have to find a balance between a legitimate, proven ticketing company with a strong online operating system, the ability to do print-at-home and scanner systems plus a box office system that all works together. Etix is a business, and the fees they charge are their only source of revenue to provide you and The Grey Eagle the above services.

A: As of April 1, 2022, The Grey Eagle is no longer requiring proof of vaccination or negative test to attend events unless an artist has specifically required it for their show. This is subject to change at any time. Please check the individual event listing to for details regarding artist’s policy. We strongly encourage masking in crowded indoor spaces.

A: You will need a valid drivers license, NC special identification card, military identification card OR an unexpired passport is permitted.

A: Unfortunately, we can’t hold tickets, and do not keep waitlists for sold out shows. All ticket sales are first come, first served.

A: We do not offer refunds. The best thing to do would be to sell it to a friend or to someone on Craigslist/Facebook for face value.

A: Yes, you may request a full refund anytime up to 48 hours before the event. Submit your refund request by contacting [email protected]. Requests with 48 hours of the event will not be honored.
