Amanda Anne Platt has been writing and performing her original songs in front of live audiences for almost two decades. With her band The Honeycutters she has released nine albums of her own original material and toured extensively in the US and Europe. Her last six studio albums have landed in the top five of WNCW’s annual listener voted top 100 releases, most recently at #5 with her 2024 release, The Ones That Stay. Platt won second place in Merlefest’s Chris Austin songwriting competition in 2011 with her song “Little Bird”, and has been privileged over the years to share the stage with such songwriting greats as Guy Clark, Amy Ray, Billy Joe Shaver, Tift Merrit, and Radney Foster.
“No matter where she takes you, Platt never skimps on setting the scene: the feeling of the road beneath her, the music playing in the background, the way the light fades. She captures it all unflinchingly in her songwriting, whether she’s exploring nostalgia, faith, memories, or a changing world around her. In the sweetness or in the grit, Platt remains a formidable storyteller.”

Calling Asheville, NC home – the band formed in 2009 after playing together in a women’s songwriting showcase. This “Country Motown” supergroup features fluid harmonies, superb songwriting, and charisma to spare.

LILLIE SYRACUSE

In a velvet stream of joy, grief, and love Lillie Syracuse’s voice and music pours deep from the heart of the in between. For a decade, Lillie honed her craft in Nashville, TN, where she wrote and released her debut album Coming Up Diamonds in 2020, with producer and Grammy-nominated drummer Mike Marsh (The Avett Brothers, Dashboard Confessional). Lillie was raised in Pumpkintown, SC, the cradle of Table Rock Mountain. Just as her heart was woven from tree, waterfall, birdsong, and red mountain clay, so was her song writing. Lillie’s hope in song-craft is to foster shifts towards a deeper connection with nature, community, authenticity, creativity, and magic in the lives of those who hear her music. The Appalachian Mountains have now called Lillie home. She lives in Brevard, NC and will be releasing her first self produced album in 2025.
