ALL AGESSTANDING ROOM ONLY FANTASTIC NEGRITO 3x GRAMMY® Award-winner Fantastic Negrito releases his highly anticipated new album, Son of a Broken Man, on October 18 2024 via his own Storefront Records. The new album sees Fantastic Negrito encapsulating his inimitable style, from hard-hitting guitar riffs to expressive ballads, with the unexpected twists that have become his trademark. It stands as one of his most personal works to date, exploring family, deception, and the human desire to hide the true self as he dives deep into the struggle between father and son. Born Xavier Amin Dphrepaulezz, Fantastic Negrito’s story is a testament to resilience and the transformative power of music. By now much has been made of Negrito’s unique story – growing up in an orthodox Muslim household, a doomed major label deal, the near-fatal car crash that permanently damaged his guitar playing hand—as well as the remarkable redemption arc that began in 2015, when he won the first-ever NPR Tiny Desk Contest. He has since earned three GRAMMY® Awards for “Best Contemporary Blues Album,” and shared stages with everyone from Sturgill Simpson to Chris Cornell to Bruce Springsteen. He’s collaborated in the studio with the likes of Sting, E-40, and Tank and The Bangas, performed on countless headline world tours and at festivals such as Lollapalooza, Glastonbury, Newport Folk, and WOMAD, and founded the Revolution Plantation, an urban farm aimed at youth education and empowerment.
John Splithoff
ALL AGESSTANDING ROOM ONLY JOHN SPLITHOFF John Splithoff is a songwriter, singer, and multi-instrumentalist who splices together throwback soul, modern production, and laid-back pop. A native of Chicago, Splithoff began gaining momentum following the independent release of his breakout single, “Sing to You.” Driven by a hypnotic howl, breezy guitar, and an unbreakable bounce, the track generated over 100 million streams, occupied coveted real estate on noted Spotify playlists and reached the top 8 at AC Radio, paving the way for Splithoff to continue to releasing music to an a growing fanbase. Splithoff has toured globally as a headliner with appearances at renowned festivals such as Lollapalooza and Bonnaroo. Most recently, Splithoff collaborated with renowned jazz trumpeter, Chris Botti, penning the David Foster produced single, “Paris,” out fall 2023 on Blue Note Records. 2024 sees Splithoff on a global tour with stops from San Francisco to Singapore and putting touches on his sophomore album, due out spring 2025 via Virgin. EVANN MCINTOSH Evann McIntosh mixes dark alt-pop and dreamy R&B with streaks of hip-hop, jazz, and funk, grappling with growth and evolution, gender identity and sexuality, freedom, and self-expression. Their writing is as insightful as it is unpredictable, alternating between earnest poeticism and playful acrobatics, and the production is similarly adventurous, wrapping their performances in lush, magnetic arrangements. Even at its most densely layered, the music remains a work of pure intimacy, unraveling the mysteries of their psyche one song at a time. Evann is currently at work on their debut album, due out in 2025.
