Patio Show: Evan Horne

Evan Horne is a cinematic-folk singer-songwriter, composer, and visual artist from Oak Ridge, TN, now based out of Ithaca, NY.  His music and live performance are known for their immersive, mesmerizing, and incandescent power that defy genre.  Raised in East TN with a singing minister father, artist mother, and songwriting brother, Evan was surrounded and suffused by art and music throughout his upbringing.  The roots of music from his upbringing in Tennessee resonate deeply through his own unique voice, emerging as both hauntingly timeless and fully his own. 

His debut album under the name Evan Horne “WITNESS” was recorded in Nashville, TN at Parlor Productions featuring Ethan Jodziewicz on bass, Mark Raudabaugh (Sierra Hull) on drums, Emmett Scott on grand piano and keys, with Brittany Haas (Crooked Still, Dave Rawlings Machine, Punch Brothers) on violin, Ruth Moody (Wailin’ Jennys) on vocals, Maya DeVitry on vocals, and Courtney Hartman on vocals and guitar.
