The Dark City Kings marry the garage rock of the Asheville underground with the mountain music of this region. We are heartache, raucous sing-a-longs, indie pop, Irish music, country music, get-up-and-dance-and-then-make-out-with-your-baby-at-the-dark-end-of-the-bar music. We are fans of Lucinda Williams and Blondie, The Waterboys and The Cure. This is Black Mountain flirting music.
