The DuPont Brothers
The DuPont Brothers
Two songwriting brothers living on the indie circuit (in their mini van) driving around sharing their story. That’s life for Sam and Zack DuPont, The DuPont Brothers. Based out of Burlington, VT the sibling indie-folk-rock duo has kept busy on the road since 2013. Their two records, Heavy as Lead (2015) and A Riddle For You (2016), have taken them all over the Northeast, Mid Atlantic, South and Midwest playing in support of some of their musical heroes including Sturgill Simpson, Jerry Douglas, Blake Mills, Bahamas and Chris Eldridge and Julian Lage. If you enjoy live music and live in any of these regions, the odds of catching these two at a local venue are in your favor. There’s an EP in the works for early 2017. Stay tuned for new music and tour dates in the spring and summer.
Austin Barrett
Austin Barrett
Austin Barrett’s musical career began when he was 6 years old at his elementary show-and-tell. After growing up with influences such as Stevie Ray Vaughan, AC/DC, Cream, B.B. King, and Crosby Stills and Nash, Barrett discovered Bluegrass and Folk Music, and the rich history of his home in Bristol, Tennessee. Barrett went on to earn a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology with a Minor in Bluegrass, Old Time and Country Music, while also leading the well-known local band, The Rickshaw Roadshow, who toured the southeast and released an EP and 2 full-length Albums from 2012 to 21015.

His latest outfit, The Green Fingers, is a four-piece, all-original band which Barrett deems, “Americana Soul Music”. Those who listen can largely expect excellent guitar playing under a raspy soulful vocal melody, and all-original music.

“the band’s indelible trademark is Barrett’s vocal, a smooth and memorable white-soul croon that calls to mind other distinctive frontmen of the genre, without expressly imitating them”
