Join us on Friday, April 17th to bid a fond farewell to one of Asheville's finest: hope and anchor. This trio's direct songwriting, minimal use of sound reinforcement, and disarmingly natural stage presence have always provided for an engaging evening of music, and we are honored to present the band's final live performance.

Doors for the fully seated, all-ages show open at 8pm, and the cover is just $5 at the door.

Bill Frisell & Greg Leisz, Professionals Mind-blowers.

frisellleisz2.jpg The New York Times described Frisell's music this way: it's hard to find a more fruitful meditation on American music than in the compositions of guitarist Bill Frisell. Mixing rock and country with jazz and blues, he's found what connects them: improvisation and a sense of play. Unlike other pastiches, who tend to duck passion, Mr. Frisell plays up the pleasure in the music and also takes on another often-avoided subject, tenderness".

Rodney Lanier, contributing writer to Steel Pulse (the essential pedal steel written opinion), calls Greg Leisz "the greatest steel player breathing today..." These colossal accolades continuously follow legends like Frisell and Leisz, and it is why they continue to to do what they do, without question and with all heart.

This Friday night, March 20th. 8pm. $22 advance/$25 day of show.
