Happy New Year from everyone here at The Grey Eagle. 

2007 brought many of our all-time favorite shows so far, and we'd like to thank you for your enduring support of live music all year long.  In a year that saw rapid decline in attendance for the "big-ticket" concerts at amphitheaters and civic centers across the US, here the opposite has held true.  Thanks for loving music as much as we do.

It's been a good year for recorded music as well, and we'd like to take a second to congratulate so many of our friends for making WNCW 88.7 FM's "top 100" list this year: Steep Canyon Rangers, Band of Horses, David Childers, The Everybodyfields, Uncle Earl, Firecracker Jazz Band, Menage, Eliza Lynn, Shannon Whitworth, David Holt, Amy Steinberg, Stephanie's Id, and Malcolm Holcombe all released excellent records in 2007, and we're so glad they've gotten the recognition they deserve.  You can view this year's list (along with the top regional, bluegrass, reggae, celtic, and blues releases) by clicking here to visit the station's "Top 100" archives.
