Thank you Western North Carolina, for your 12 years of support, and we look forward to bringing you great live music for years to come. We are thrilled to present three of our all-time favorite performers on our anniversary weekend, each one special to us in their own way:

9pm Friday, May 4: Brett Dennen w/Gran Bel Fisher.
Brett is one of our new favorites. He'll be one of yours too, as soon as you hear him. Catchy, meaningful songs and a good guy to boot. You've probably already heard his music on commercials, a TV show or two, and all over the radio. He is absolutely one new artist to watch.

8:30pm Saturday, May 5: David LaMotte w/Mitch Barrett.
David's relationship with The Grey Eagle goes all the way back. He's recorded material for live albums here and at the Black Mountain location, and even recently filmed for an excellent live DVD. A lot of our chairs we have thanks to David's help. Our curtains? David again. His was the first show here at the Asheville location. Heck the guy even released a song called "Grey Eagle"... both the man and his music are truly assets to the WNC music scene.

8pm Sunday, May 6: James McMurtry w/Jeffrey Dean Foster.
Closing out the weekend, we see the return of Texas troubadour James McMurtry. James has put on countless amazing shows here. It's been a while since he's been here, and we couldn't be more thrilled to have him back. Before our current Asheville location opened way back in 1999, James and his band showed their true colors by putting down their instruments and picking up paintbrushes to help get the place ready for the grand opening. How can we not be excited about this one?

DON'T BE LATE: we'll be giving out free commemorative posters and Grey Eagle merchandise to the first 20 people in the door each night!
