Austin's Wayne Hancock is the world's finest purveyor of an enticing blend of honky tonk, western swing, blues, Texas rockabilly and big band we like to call juke joint swing. At a time when may self-proclaimed musicologists and genre snobs want to bottle America's rich musical legacy, label it, and put it on a museum shelf, Wayne and his band will have none of it. Matter of fact, they aim to uncork the strong stuff and serve it up, night after night in town after town -- to hell with the neighbors or getting a good night's rest! It's swing time!
