Tin Roof Echo, the recording moniker for Asheville, NC based musician, Joe Hooten, has evolved from the humble beginnings as a bedroom-folk project to the solo performing artist that he is today. Hooten’s nuanced songwriting and finger-picking style create intimate reflections on love and loss with the optimism of a seasoned songwriter documenting life’s moments through song . As if opening a window into someone’s heart was ever easy, Hooten embraces the purpose of his songwriting with distinguished honesty and real emotion.

SCOTT STETSON

Born and raised in Rochester N.Y. and now an Asheville resident for the last 16 years. Scott had an early start by playing Punk Rock in some of Rochester’s most popular clubs while still in High School and since playing in a couple bands in Asheville, N.C. including the Dirty Badgers and Cat & Crow. Scott enjoys the opportunity to share the stripped down, emotional side of just a voice and acoustic guitar. Crafting honest songs about love, life, murder, and broken hearts.
