The Grey Eagle welcomes Frank Vignola's Gypsy Grass back to Asheville, after their phenomenal set here in February.

One of the premier acoustic jazz guitarists on the scene today, Frank Vignola launches a new group of nasty pickers collectively called Frank Vignola's Gypsy Grass. He teams up with various monster instrumentalists to embark on a new musical venture. Their repetoire includes originals, Zappa, and even a medley of Slayer compositions called Slayer in the Grass.

Featuring: Frank Vignola on guitar, 17 year-old phenom Josh Pinkham on mandolin, Vinny Raniolo on guitar, Gary Mazzaroppi on bass, and Rich Zukor on percussion.
